FC Goa warms up for new ISL season with 4-0 win over Chennai City

FC Goa celebrates a goal against Chennaiyin FC at the Bambolim Athletic Stadium in Goa on Sunday.

FC Goa warmed up for the new season of the Indian Super League (ISL) in style with a 4-0 thumping of Chennai City FC in its last pre-season friendly at the Bambolim Athletic Stadium in Goa on Sunday.

Mandar Rao Dessai scored a brace, netting either side of half-time before Brandon Fernandes and Liston Colaco added the third and fourth to make it an all-Goa party.

The Gaurs is set to take on Chennaiyin FC in its ISL 2017 opener at Marina Arena on Novemeber 19.
