This is Sportstar's ISL match blog of the encounter between Odisha FC and ATK Mohun Bagan at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim on Saturday.
Gerry Peyton "We have solidarity and we have stayed todather. The boys gave me everything. Between the two of us (Stuart and me), we stuck to a plan. The penalty was a turning point and we lost it. When you play against ATKMB, they have quality all over the pitch. They overloaded us down the left side and we tried to put things right. Quality players will always win games. They score goals like Krishna and Manvir did today. [On coaching today?] Walking out today there was a bit of nerves. But when the game starts I have my winning menatlity on. I told Stu,"Once you put me in front, and I have to win the game, I go all out". I have been a winner all my life."
Podcast - The merger between ATK and Mohun Bagan for ISL 2020-21 seemed like a match made in heaven, but fans didn't look pleased. Our reporters Shyam Vasudevan, Aashin Prasad and Amitabha Das Sharma delve into the reasons behind fans' displeasure and the raging hashtag #RemoveATK in the latest episode of 'The Full Time Show'.
Manvir Singh, who earned himself a start today, justified his selection with two superbly taken goals in either half. Roy Krishna, who is now leading the Golden Boot race, played his part in all four goals with two assists and two strikes of his own. Odisha got itself back in the game with a stunning effort by Cole Alexander before half-time but it couldn't really assert itself in the second half. Mohun Bagan moves with three points of leader Mumbai City FC. ISL 2020: Points Table

83' GOAL! Krishna slots home the penalty! There's the insurance goal for ATKMB. Arshdeep went the wrong way.
82' PENALTY! Halder plays in a ball into the box, where the ball seemingly struck Alexander's arm. Seems like a poor decision by the rfef as his arm was only by his side and not in an unnatural position.

80' ATKMB SUB: Javier OFF, Rane ON
76' Drinks break taken.

63' OFC SUB: Paul OFF, Nandha ON. Paul seems to have hurt his hamstring.

58' Onwu is booked for a kick on Pritam while they went to tussle for the ball.
55' GOAL! Manvir with another fierce hit! Krishna does well by evading a Alexander challenge before playing in Manvir down the right flank. The striker takes a couple of touches to set himself up before unleashing a low and hard drive, which Arshdeep can't get his hands to. Poor from Arshdeep.
53' Jhingan wins the header ahead of Tratt from a Pradhan corner. Jhingan is wincing in pain holding his heavily strapped right hand.
51' Sajid's pass is cut off and Bose finds Marcelinho in space. The attacker turns and runs towards goal before unleashing a shot from distance which goes narrowly wide.
49' Krishna fires in a cross from the left but its overhit and away from his teammates.
46' Odisha gets the second half underway.
45'+1' GOAL! Another cracking goal by Cole Alexander! Paul with a drive from distance which cuts across Arindam and thumps against the post and comes back into play. Pritam fails with his clearance and Alexander picks his slot and places into the top right corner of the net from outside the box! Arindam tries to get back to the other end but fails to get his hand to the shot.

40' Long ball into the Odisha half and Krishna races onto the flick on header but Bora puts him off by pulling him back by his feet. Krishna doesn't go down and squares it for Marcelinho, whose right-footed shot is saved by Arshdeep.
39' Good build up by Odisha from back to front with Mauricio playing Jerry on the right. Jerry looks to return the favour with a clipped ball into the box but Jhingan makes the crucial interception.
33' Alexander fouls Krishna, who looked to get away from the Odisha midfielder with a flick.
30' Drinks break taken
30' Vinit Rai goes for a shot from distance but the ball keeps rising and goes over the goal.
28' Excellently defended by MB defenders. Jerry's cross is blocked first by Tiri before Dhot's cross is blocked by Halder.

22' Odisha has struggled to find any kind of rhythm thus far. Been a similar story for the side in the opening halves of matches.
19' Manvir picks up the ball from Manvir's pass and has a go from distance but he can't get his shot on target.
14' Javier's shot inside the box is blocked and Odisha break to the other end. Jerry's clipped ball into the box for Mauricio is behind him and is cleared away.
11' GOAL! WHAT. A. STRIKE! Manvir Singh with a stunning effort to give Mohun Bagan the lead! Krishna feeds Manvir on the right side of the Odisha box and the striker checks to his left foot before unleashing a powerful, curling effort into the top corner of the goal! Arshdeep did not even move. He had no right to score from that angle.
10' Marcelinho dribbles inside the Odisha box and looks to find Krishna for a shot but his pass his wayward.
7' Pradhan cuts out Javier's corner behind. Another set piece. Lenny concedes a foul on Mauricio on the right wing after the new Mohun Bagan player got on the end of Javier's corner.
4' Krishna plays a one-two with Lenny but the latter's pass is cut out inside the box.

The seventh edition of the Indian Super League got underway inside a bio-bubble in Goa on November 20.
The tournament, spanning over four months, will see 11 teams play each other in a league and playoff format across three venues. Following the inclusion of SC East Bengal, this season will feature 115 games, up from 95 last season.
Odisha FC will look for a rare source of joy when it takes on second-placed ATK Mohun Bagan in the Indian Super League (ISL 2020-21) clash at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim on Saturday. With just one win to its name, Odisha FC has endured a dismal season and it only got worse when head coach Stuart Baxter was sacked last week following his unsavoury comments after the loss to Jamshedpur.
Interim head coach Gerald Peyton has a herculean task ahead of him as he seeks to rebuild his side against Antonio Habas’ high-flying ATK Mohun Bagan. Odisha, languishing at the bottom of the table, has the second-worst defence in the league and will miss the services of club captain and Newcastle legend Steven Taylor due to a one-match suspension.
The attack has also failed to impress, with the side being overly dependent on Diego Mauricio for the goals upfront. The Brazilian has scored over 50 per cent of Odisha FC’s goals this season.
Talking ahead of the game, Peyton said, "If you look at nearly all the games we've played, we've been a fraction away (from getting results). It's been one goal in every game and finding that combination to go and win games, I'm sure we are going to find that."
He added, “We had a few meetings and it’s been very, very positive for everybody connected. It brought us together. All the senior players and all the Indian players, we are getting together now. We are going to show in the last six games, a very positive attitude and a determination to win as many games as possible and take the club forward.”
ATK Mohun Bagan comes into the tie after a lion-hearted comeback against Kerala Blasters. The Mariners conceded twice but came back finely to ride on Roy Krishna’s brace and earn a 3-2 win. Marcelo Pereira’s arrival has added a new dimension in attack, while the signing of midfielder Lenny Rodrigues will further bolster Habas’ side. However, the Mariners will be without Carl McHugh, who is out due to suspension, and will be keen to address the defensive woes that have seen them manage only one cleansheet in five games.
“The (level of) competition in the ISL means that there are no small teams. There are special situations that when the team changes their head coach, there is always more motivation for the players. We have to play the match the same way we would have played against a strong team like Mumbai City,” said Habas.
ATK Mohun Bagan emerged the victor in a 1-0 win when the two sides last met.
