ATK forward Robbie Keane will miss the first week of the Indian Super League (ISL) season due to a knee injury and has flown back home to Ireland.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star was signed by the Kolkata outfit earlier this season on a one-year contract.

“He has an injury to his left knee and has flown back home. He may be available for their fourth round match against Chennaiyin FC (on December 7),” an ISL official told PTI .

The 37-year-old earlier this week scored once to help ATK defeat I-League club Neroca FC 2-1 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan training ground in Kolkata. He has also scored three goals in three practise matches in preparation for the latest season of the ISL.
The 2016 champion ATK kicks-off its campaign against Kerala Blasters on November 17 at Kolkata.
