Hardik Pandya's exceptional performance against Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 has helped him climb eight places up the Men's T20I player rankings.

In the latest rankings released on Wednesday, Hardik (167) occupies fifth place, his highest-ever spot in the chart topped by Mohammad Nabi (257). The Afghanistan skipper is followed by his Bangladesh counterpart Shakib Al Hasan (245) followed by Moeen Ali, Glenn Maxwell.
Hardik came up with an impressive all-round show claiming a three-wicket haul (3/35) and then smashing an unbeaten 33 off just 17 deliveries as India humbled Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 encounter by five wickets.

In the bowling department, star Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has moved two places up the order to claim the third spot with Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood leading the T20I bowling rankings list.
Tabraiz Shamsi occupies the second spot as Adil Rashid and Adam Zampa take the fourth and fifth spots respectively.
Rashid (708) is threatening to take the second spot from Shamshi (716) but Hazlewood (792) still maintains a strong hold at the top.
In the batting rankings, Pakistan captain Babar Azam (810) continues his dominance at the top but Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan (796) is closely followed by India’s Suryakumar Yadav and South Africa’s Aiden Markram who are tied at 792 points. Dawid Malan occupies the fifth spot with 731 points.
There were several shuffles across the other two formats, with Ben Stokes' role in England's victory over South Africa leading to moves up in all three Test ranking lists.
Making a hundred and taking 2/17 and 2/30, Stokes moved up nine spots on the batting rankings to 18th (668), five spots to 38th on the bowling rankings (540), and up to second on the all-rounder list (360). Ravindra Jadeja (384) holds on to the top spot.
There were no moves of note in the top ten of the ODI rankings, though the first match between Australia and Zimbabwe saw shuffles lower down.
