The second leg of MRF Challenge 2017 is all to take place at the Dubai Autodrome between December 7 and 9.
The FIA-sanctioned event, featuring Formula 3 style cars, will see about 18 young drivers proving their mettle over four races around a demanding circuit that is hosting these races for the third time.
Brazil’s Felipe Drugovich, with two wins and a second place in the first leg at Bahrain, leads the championship with 80 points, ahead of Frenchman Julien Falchero (65) and Indonesia's Presley Martono (63).
“We have had three different winners in the first four races and the championship is shaping up well. The Dubai Autodrome is a challenging circuit where all our drivers are looking forward to racing in,” said Arun Mammen, managing director of MRF Tyres that has developed and promoted the competing machines.
The races will be split between Friday and Saturday following practice sessions on Thursday and the qualifying race on December 8.
