Wriddhaayan is a Principal Correspondent/Chief-Sub Editor with Sportstar. He primarily writes on cricket, edits stories from all sports, addicted to reading scorecards of cricket matches and always dreaming of bowling Steve Smith out with a yorker. As a reporter, he has covered a lot of Ranji Trophy, Indian Premier League, Indian Super League, ICC World Twenty20, Tata Open Tennis ATP 250 among other high-profile events. His heart, however, lies in domestic cricket; the platform to identify future champions. Having a special affinity towards southpaws, dream squad includes Brian Lara, Saeed Anwar, Sourav Ganguly and Wasim Akram. He is one of the reporters to have travelled to the north-east, before any other publication, for ground reporting ahead of their domestic cricket inception.
