“I am happy that all the changes done over the past couple of months have worked really well. I am so much more confident in air rifle. I have learnt a lot and am enjoying even the training, which was not much earlier.

“Both Deepali (Deshpande) madam and Oleg (Mikhaylov) have made me realise that I can shoot air rifle well. With good basics, I am ready for the tournaments and training ahead,” said Anjum, who has a world record in rifle 3-position event.

It was the second successive triumph for Anjum after her fine show on the opening day of the trials on Wednesday.
