Sardar Masters: Neeraj pips Gurpreet for gold

Neeraj Kumar bagged the gold medal in men's 25m standard pistol while Achal Pratap Singh Grewal pipped Samaresh Jung for the bronze.

Neeraj Kumar shot 576 and beat Olympian Gurpreet Singh by four points for the gold in men’s standard pistol in the 11th Sardar Sajjan Singh Sethi Masters shooting championship at the Dr. Karni Singh Range Tughlakabad, on Tuesday.

Achal Pratap Singh Grewal pipped Samaresh Jung, the hero of the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Australia, by one point for the bronze medal, thanks to a better fare in the 20-second series.

Anhad Jawanda bagged the junior gold with a score of 563, one point better than Anish and Shivam Shukla.
