Asian Age Group C'ships: India finishes with 64 medals

Divers Palak Sharma and Siddharth Pradeshi earned the nation's 19th and 20th gold medals on the last day of the Asian Age Group Championships in Bengaluru.

India ended its campaign at the 10th Asian Age Group Championships on a high as divers Palak Sharma and Siddharth Pradeshi earned the nation's 19th and 20th gold medals.

Sharma, for whom it was the first international competition, impressed with a score of 162.70 in the 5m/7.5m platform diving for women to finish ahead of Sudirman Nur Nufiidah of Indonesia (150.65) and Villafor Jana Mary of Philippines (149.30).

Pradeshi, meanwhile, emerged victorious in the 10m platform for open category men. With a score of 379.00, he outperformed Iran's Mojtaba Valipour (273.75) and Qatar's Shewaiter Mohammed Ahmed (266.50).

India finished with a total medal tally of 64 medals (20 gold, 24 silver and 20 bronze).
