Unseeded S. Snehit continued his dream run to gate-crash into the men’s semifinal, while Sanil Shetty upstaged second seed A. Amalraj in the National ranking table tennis championship here on Monday.
Snehit, the conqueror of top seed Sharath Kamal on Sunday evening, expectedly defeated Sanish Ambedkar to set up a clash with Arjun Ghosh. In the other half, Manav Thakkar takes on Sanil.
In the ladies section, too, Krittwika advanced to the semifinal having beaten top seed Sutirtha Mukherjee on the way.
The junior titles went to Manush Shah (boys’ category) and Swastika Ghosh (girls’ category).
