Divij Sharan, Erlich go down fighting to the Bryan twins

Divij Sharan in partnership with Jonathan Erlich of Israel put up a strong fight against the top seeded Bryan twins, Bob and Mike, who won 6-4, 6-7(4), 10-7 in the doubles quarterfinals of the $777,385 ATP tennis tournament in Atlanta, US.

The quarterfinal entry fetched 45 ATP points and $6,240 for Divij and his partner.

In the doubles of the ITF men’s Futures in Thailand, Arjun Kadhe in partnership with Timur Khabibulin of Kazakhstan was beaten 10-4 in the super tie-break by the experienced Ratiwatana twins, Sanchai and Sonchat.

In the doubles semifinals of the ITF women’s event in Tunisia, Sowjanya Bavisetti and Sravya Shivani were beaten 10-7 in the super tie-break by Elizabeth Danailova and Chelsea Vanhoutte.
