Eugenie Bouchard suffered a third loss to Nao Hibino this year as the Japanese secured a 6-3 6-3 victory to advance at the Tashkent Open.
Having beaten the Canadian in Vancouver and Hiroshima recently, Hibino once again came out on top in a tournament she won in 2015.
Hibino would reel off four games in a row en route to claiming the opening set and then recovered from a break down in the second before sealing victory with an ace.

"This is my third meeting [against Bouchard] this year, I won all the three times," she said in her post-match interview.
"I came here as early as Wednesday and that gave me a lot of time to prepare myself for the tournament. I felt I could get a win in Tashkent too as this is my lucky and happy place."
Elsewhere, fourth seed Stefanie Voegele exited when she lost 6-4 6-7 (3-7) 3-6 to Anastasia Potapova but Tatjana Maria, Anna Karolina Schmiedlova and Dalila Jakupovic, all ranked in the top eight in Tashkent, came through their respective ties.
