Radwanska leapfrogs Kerber in WTA rankings

After her semifinal exit at Charletson, Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber dropped a place to be positioned third in the latest WTA rankings, led by Serena Williams.

Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber has dropped a place to world number three in the latest WTA rankings released on Monday after her semifinal exit in Charleston.The German retired with an injury when trailing 6-1, 3-0 to eventual champion Sloane Stephens on Saturday, and Agnieszka Radwanska retakes second spot despite not playing last week.

American Serena Williams still holds a massive lead at the top of the rankings, while her compatriot Stephens is closing in on the top 20 after her third title of the season.
