India takes on South Korea in a Pool B match at the Asian Games 2018.

7:55 pm: FULL-TIME! INDIA 4-1 SOUTH KOREA. A whirlwind final quarter blows away the defending champion away as India scores three goals in the space of five minutes. The match seemed to head towards a drab draw, but one penalty corner was enough to give India the confidence to put Korea to the sword. India seems to be on a upward spiral with its penalty corner conversion, which proved to be the difference in this win. India go to the top of Pool B and is one step closer to the semifinals with the win. Rani Rampal and Co will face Thailand on Monday in their final pool B match.

7:52 pm: Talk about strong finishes and what a final quarter India has produced against the champion. There was no shot on goal for close to thirty minutes of the game and all of a sudden, India scores three goals in the space of five minutes.

7:49 pm: VANDANA MAKES IT 4-1 . The defending champion has fallen apart! The Korean goalkeeper is off her line early as Vandana bursts into space and beats the custodian. She looses her balance but manages to pass the ball into an empty net.

7:48 pm: ANOTHER MOMENT OF BRILLIANCE FROM GURJIT! Another penalty corner results in a unstoppable dragflick from Gurjit to make 3-1 for India.

7:44 pm: GOAL INDIA! That could be the match for India! Gurjit makes it count when it mattered the most as she send a powerful dragfllick that is impossible for the Korean goalkeeper to block.

7:43 pm: Penalty corner for India. Lalremsiami wins a corner with some tricky stick work.

7:40 pm: Another blind cross from Udita on the left flank which is too far for Navjot to reach.

7:39 pm: Both the teams are playing the waiting game to let their opponent commit a mistake as there has been no shot on target at either end since the beginning of the third quarter.

7:37 pm: Navneet wins a long corner but the Koreans manage to parry it away to safety before the Indians have a shot on the goal.

7:35pm: Korea has not played upto its defending champion tag in this match, missing precious chances inside the area and has not been able to switch from defense to attack like in previous matches.

7:34 pm: Final quarter begins!

7:32 pm: End of third quarter! India 1-1 South Korea

7:29 pm: India is now dominating the possession, but is unable to make the killer pass to reach the goal.

7:27 pm: India's poor positioning is letting down the team against the champion as another pass inside the Korean half roll out.

7:25 pm: Neha Goyal tries to cut in from the left flank but the opposition defence is watchful enough to snuff out the danger.

7:23 pm: Another stray pass from the Indian midfield is let go by the Korean defence for a free hit.

7:21 pm: India looks to play out from the back but loses possession near the circle again.

7:19 pm: Vandana loses the possession near the half line allowing Korea to come back at India again.

7:18 pm: There is too much space offered by the Indian midfielders as Korea reaches the cricle with some quick long passes.

7:17 pm: SECOND HALF BEGINS!

7:07 pm: HALF-TIME! INDIA 1-1 KOREA

7:05 pm: Korea should have been ahead there. The Indian defence is in panic as Gurjit is the only one left to battle two Korean forwards who fail to control the ball with an open goal infront of them.

7:02 pm: Navjot misses a clear opportunity! Sunita bring downs a high ball inside the area and passes it to Navjot who just has the goalkeeper to beat, but she skies it over the bar.

6:57 pm: The goal stays, India 1-1 Korea. Before it is half time, this match has seen so many twists and turns. We had both teams cancelling out each other through solid defending, some lovely stick work from Vandana Katariya and Lilima inside the Korean area and Koreans equalizing in a questionable way.

6:55 pm: KOREA EQUALIZE. But wait..... The resultant penalty stroke is dragged into the net which the field umpire wants to consult the video umpire for the legitimacy.

6:54 pm: The video umpire stays with the field decision and Korea gets a penalty stroke as Savita gets ready.

6:53 pm: Penalty to Korea! But India ask for a referral

6:49 pm: Korea is trying hard to pressurise the India defence winning back-to-back long corners but Indians stay resolute, moping up every loose pass inside their half.

6:48 pm: LILIMA PUTS INDIA AHEAD! INDIA 1-0! The game has suddenly sprung into life as Lalremsiami takes a reverse hit from outside the area and Lilima does enough to see the back of the net.

6:47 pm: Second-quarter starts!

First quarter ends

6.45pm: At the end of the first quarter, it's all level. The Koreans threatened the Indian goal towards the end of the quarter, but neither team could break the deadlock.

6.39pm: Wearing red, South Korea is starting to look dangerous, with more circle penetrations.

6.35pm: We're halfway through the first quarter and the game seems pretty even so far. The play has been limited to the middle of the field with a few circle penetrations.

After convincing wins against Indonesia and Kazakhstan, South Korea could be the India eves' first real  test.
