The ouster of the Indian men's kabaddi team at the hands of Iran in yesterday's semifinal has put added focus on the Indian women's kabaddi team, which takes on Iran in the gold-medal match later this afternoon. This is the third successive Asian Games final that the women's team has qualified for, having secured gold at the last two editions of the tournament.

Both India and Iran have won each of their five matches so far in convincing fashion. Therefore, the match-up for the final couldn't have been better.
