The NBA is gifting basketball fans with some very exciting Christmas Day matchups this year, which will be headlined by the Lakers and Clippers.
The two Los Angeles squads will face off in the Staples Center on December 25 in a battle of the super teams.
The Lakers' roster will feature the dynamic duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, as well as quality offseason additions in DeMarcus Cousins and Danny Green. The Clippers on the other hand have a pair of elite, two-way wings in 2019 NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

James was out for a lengthy spell when he injured his groin in last year's Christmas Day win over Golden State, but this year will mark his 14th career game played on the holiday. Only Kobe Bryant has played more (16).
Another notable team on the docket is the Raptors, who haven't had a Christmas Day game since they faced off against the Knicks in 2001. The defending champions will host the Celtics this year, which is fitting considering both sides lost their best players in Kyrie Irving and Leonard in free agency this offseason.
Zion Williamson will play in the first Christmas game of his career as the Pelicans travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets. The Rockets will face the Warriors in their brand-new Chase Center in San Francisco while the five-game slate will be rounded out by the 76ers taking on the Bucks in Milwaukee.
It's shaping up to be one of the most thrilling NBA Christmas Days yet.
