Former West Indies batting great Alvin Kallicharran will be conversing about his upcoming book Color Blind and his career with N. Ram, Chairman, THG Group, on Thursday evening in an event presented by Sportstar.

On the occasion of his 70th birthday, former Caribbean batting great Alvin Kallicharran will be conversing about his upcoming book Color Blind and his struggle from a humble beginning in Berbice, Guyana, to the captaincy of the West Indian team with N. Ram, Chairman, THG Group, here on Thursday evening.

The event, presented by Sportstar and open to all, will be held at the Kasturi Srinivasan Hall, The Music Academy, from 6 p.m. The proceedings will be streamed live on the sportstar.thehindu.com .

An integral part of Clive Lloyd’s formidable West Indian team, Kallicharran was a technically accomplished left-hander of exceptional ability.
