Bangladesh calls up Mosaddek for T20 series against Afghanistan

Bangladesh has called up batsman Mosaddek Hossain in the squad for its three-match T20 series against Afghanistan in Dehradun next month.

Bangladesh has called up batsman Mosaddek Hossain in the squad for its three-match T20 series against Afghanistan in Dehradun next month.

As first reported bySportstar earlier this week, Bangaldesh has named its full-strength side for the week-long series. The side will be led by Shakib Al Hasan and will feature some of the top guns like Mahmudullah, Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim among others.

The selectors, however, have dropped batsman Imrul Kayes, pacer Taskin Ahmed and wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan from the team which played the Nidahas Trophy in Sri Lanka in March.

The squad: Shakib Al Hasan (capt), Mahmudullah, Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain, Ariful Haque, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nazmul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Abu Hider, Rubel Hossain, Abu Jayed
