India C is the Deodhar Trophy 2018/19 champion.

4:48pm WICKET and there's the win for India C! Navdeep Saini bowls Jayadev Unadkat clean with a yorker and India C wins by 29 runs.

4:45pm OUT! Chahar also falls. Now it looks like there's only one way this match is going. India B 323/9

4:42pm Deepak Chahar and Jayadev Unadkat are in the middle needing 35 runs from the last five overs.

4:37pm OUT! Shahbaz Nadeem departs and India B is in deep trouble here. India B 318/8 after 45 overs.

4:31pm BIG WICKET for India C! They finally get the wicket of Shreyas Iyer who looked unstoppable. Iyer has to depart for a classy 148 after skying a Rahul Chahar delivery which is caught at fine leg by Pappu Roy.

4:21pm India B needs 61 from the last 9 overs and Shreyas Iyer on 133 is making it look easy out there, but with 6 wickets down we've got a close match on our hands. India B 292/6 after 41 overs.

4:07pm With 80 runs to win from 72 balls and Shreyas Iyer in the middle, India B still stays in the hunt despite losing six wickets. Deepak Chahar will have to provide all the support Iyer needs to pull his team across the finish line.

3:58pm OUT! Navdeep Saini gets his first wicket as the big-hitting K Gowtham departs for a quick 18 off 10 balls. India B sinks deeper into trouble as it loses its sixth wicket. 264/6 after 37 overs.

3:52pm India B skipper Shreyas Iyer has a tough task at hand. With Krishnappa Gowtham at the other end, he has to get his team 103 more rins from 15 overs with just 5 wickets in hand. India B 250/5 after 35 overs.

Pappu Roy breaks another strong partnership. This time it's Ankush Bains who falls and his 65-run partnership with Iyer comes to an end. India B 240/5 after 34 overs.

3:23pm There's his century! Shreyas Iyer gets to a well-deserved hundred in just 81 balls. What a classy innings this is shaping up to be!

3:16pm Ankush Bains has stepped up. Bains and Iyer will need to protect this partnership. The run rate has been taken care of but India B is running out of batsmen. India B 197/4 in 29 overs.

3:02pm WICKET! India B loses its fourth wicket as Manoj Tiwary goes for a soft dismissal. Shreyas Iyer is slowly losing batting partners in the middle.  India B 172/4 after 25.2 overs.

2:57pm Shreyas Iyer is going nuts here with some clean hitting. In the same over that Roy dismissed Vihari, Iyer smashes three sixes to take his score to 84 off 67 balls. India B 171/3 after 25 overs.

2:52pm OUT! Another one goes for India B. Hanuma Vihari who was looking to take on Pappu Roy, skies a shot and it's taken in the deep. That's Pappu Roy's second.

2:44pm WICKET! Pappu Roy dismisses the set batsman Gaikwad for 60. India B 132/2 in 21 overs. The 116-run partnership for the second wicket comes to an end.

2.30 pm 100 up for India B, but still a long way to go for the side. Meanwhile, can India C bowlers rock the India B batsmen?

1:57pm Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer get India B to 50 in 9 overs. Gaikwad has looked good so far, scoring five boudnaries in his 24 off 19 balls.

1:31pm WICKET! Mayank Agarwal gets caught behind by Ishan Kishan and loses his wicket for 14. Rajneesh Gurbani picks up the first wicket for India C. India B 16/1 in 3.2 overs

1:15pm Mayank Agarwal and Ruturaj Gaikwad open the innings for India B.

India B needs 353 runs to win.

 

12:33pm WICKET off the final ball off the over! Jayadev Unadkat bowls Navdeep Saini and India C posts a huge total of 352/7 in 50 overs.

12:29pm OUT! Sundar looks for another, misses and is trapped LBW by Unadkat.

12:28pm Washington Sundar comes in and smashes Jayadev Unadkat for a six on his first ball, taking India C to 350/5 in the last over.

12:25pm OUT! Vijay Shankar glances his first ball for four and is caught at long-on on the second ball.

12:22 pm WICKET! Suryakumar Yadav falls for 39 after getting his team close to the 350 mark. India C 338/4 after 48 overs. Vijay Shankar comes in.

12:15 pm Deepak Chahar goes for 19 runs in the 47th over. Suryakumar Yadav smashes two sixes and a four as he leads the late charge to 350. India C 326/3 in 47 overs.

12:01pm Suryakumar Yadav has come out with intent. Markande goes for 20 runs in the 45th over as Yadav smashes two sixes. India C has got 350 in sights.

11:53 am WICKETS falling in quick succession for India C! Mayank Markande pitches the ball up and Raina tries to lift it for a six but it's caught safely in the deep by Chahar. Bagging two wickets in the over, Markande gives India B a breakthrough.  India C 270/3

11:51 am WICKET! Shubman Gill has to go for 26. Mayank Markande traps him in front of the stumps with a wrong one, the very next ball after Gill lifts him for a six. India C 269/2 in 42.4 overs

11:49 am Rahane and Gill bring up their 50-run partnership as they begin accelerating.

11:43 am With Ishan Kishan back in the pavilion, the scoring rate has seen a slight dip. Gill has started slow.

11:40 am Ajinkya Rahane also gets to a well-paced and controlled century. 100 off 127 balls.

11:11 am WICKET! Ishan Kishan is out for 114 (87 balls), caught leg before wicket to Jaydev Unadkat. India C 210 for one, Shubman Gill joins Ajinkya Rahane in the middle.

11:08 am 200 comes up for India C! Ishan Kishan and Ajinkya Rahane going great guns , batting on 114 and 83 respectively. India C is well-set to post a total well in excess of 300!

10:52 am Century for Ishan Kishan! The Jharkhand wicketkeeper-batsman brings up his third List-A century and he is looking ominous. India C is 183 for no loss after 27 overs.

10:27 am Now Ajinkya Rahane brings up his half-century , the 41st of his List-A career. India C is going at over six runs per over, it is 121 for no loss after 20 overs .

10:20 am Ishan Kishan is upping the ante! He brings up the 100 for India C with a six off part-time off-spinner, Manoj Tiwary. He follows up the six with a single to bring up his 10th List A half-century . Ajinkya Rahane now playing second fiddle, batting on 48. India C 106 for no loss after 18 overs .

10:12 am A nearly moment: Ishan Kishan is given out leg before wicket to Shahbaz Nadeem . But the left-arm spinner has overstepped marginally , reprieving Kishan, who has swiftly moved to 38. India C is 89 for no loss after 17 overs .

9:56am Ishan Kishan brings up the 50 for India C with a six off K. Gowtham . The six breaks the shackles for him: stranded in single digits for long, Kishan steps out and with a clean bat swing, hits Gowtham over his head. He then follows up with a cover drive for a four. 13 runs come off the 14th over, India C 62 for no loss .

9:40 am India C is 41 for no loss at the end of the first powerplay . Ajinkya Rahane is off to a start and batting on 34. Ishan Kishan is giving him company on 5, striving to find his groove against the likes of Jaydev Unadkat, Deepak Chahar and K. Gowtham.

9:19 am After five overs, India C is 20 for no loss . Ajinkya Rahane is batting on 14, Ishan Kishan unbeaten on 3, having not had much of the strike.

9:00 am Ishan Kishan and Ajinkya Rahane open the batting for India C, K. Gowtham to begin proceedings for India B.
