Rahane, Bumrah to skip Ranji final

The selectors are understood to have clarified to both the players and their teams that the players will have to skip the Ranji final.

Jasprit Bumrah and Ajinkya Rahane will miss the Ranji Trophy final, instead donning the India 'A' colours for the warm-up games against England ahead of the first ODI.

While the Ranji Trophy final between Bumrah’s Gujarat and defending champion Mumbai, Rahane’s home team, is scheduled in Indore from January 10 to 14, Pune will host the first ODI on January 15. The two warm-up games are to be played in Mumbai on January 10 and 12.

The selectors are understood to have clarified to both the players and their teams that the players will have to skip the Ranji final.
