Chris Gayle became the most prolific six-hitter in World Cups during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 contest between West Indies and Pakistan at Trent Bridge on Friday. Gayle started the match with 37 sixes.

The left-hand opener hit right-arm seamer Hasan Ali for successive sixes to go past the South African. Gayle added one more six before being dismissed for a 34-ball 50.
The West Indian came out to lead his team's run-chase after Pakistan was dismissed for 105, its second-lowest World Cup total .
