Williamson stitched a crucial 74-run partnership with Henry Nicholls to steady the ship after the early dismissal of Martin Guptill.
The 28-year-old had a fine World Cup, scoring two centuries and two fifties at an average of 82.57. The 148 against West Indies stands out among all the knocks.
Former India captain Sourav Ganguly is sixth in the list with 465 runs in the 2003 edition.
