Baroda captain Kedar Devdhar said all-rounder Hardik Pandya will not be available for the next Ranji Trophy match as he is traveling to Australia.

Pandya was ruled out of India's tour Down Under after suffering a back injury during India's Asia Cup 2018 opener against Pakistan earlier this year.

Pandya was initially slated to return to action for India A's tour of New Zealand, but was ruled out after the BCCI medical team advised against it.

There was a possibility that Pandya would be called up for the last two Tests against Australia if he proved his match fitness in the Ranji Trophy for Baroda.
