Good yorker and just a couple for Markande. SRH needs 16 to win off three balls. Another low full toss and Markande shuffles across and misses the scoop shot; just a single. SRH nees 15 to win off two balls. OUT! Bhuvneshwar Kumar is caught at extra-cover. Arjun Tendulkar gets his first IPL wicket and Mumbai Indians wins by 14 runs.

Green bowls the penultimate over. A couple of singles to start the over. A dot on the third as Bhuvneshwar inside edges this onto the pad and back to the bowler. SRH needs 22 off nine balls. Bhuvneshwar dabs this gently to deep third for a single. Swing and a miss from Samad and just a single. 20 runs to win off seven balls. A perfect yorker and it’s a dot to end the over.

FOUR! Sundar starts the over with a boundary as Behrendorff goes back-of-a-length outside off, giving the batter enough room to free his arms. Darts in a good yorker to Samad, who digs it out for a single. FOUR! Sundar manages to find the gap behind point and gets his second boundary of the over. FIVE-WIDES! This is a gift for SRH as Meredith goes down leg-side and the keeper can’t get to it. Five extra runs without a ball bowled. OUT! A bit lazy from Washington as he is run out at the non-striker’s end after digging out a yorker to mid-off. FOUR! Samad ends the over with a much-needed boundary for SRH.

Meredith bowls out. Bowls a wide down leg after a first-ball dot. Good yorker next up and Samad squeezes out a single. FOUR! Half-volley on middle stump and Jansen drills this straight back over the bowler for a boundary. OUT! Slow and short and Jansen slices it high in the air and caught at long-on. Sundar is in at No. 9 and gets off the mark with a single off the second ball he faces.

Green bowls his third. Yorker first ball and Jansen digs it out for a single. Slow full toss and Samad looks to slap this on the off but misses. Next ball Samad is beaten driving outside off. Dot balls are something SRH can’t afford anymore. SRH needs 59 from 27. Pushed to extra-cover for a single now. Just two runs from four balls this over. Jansen will need to go for a big hit. FOUR! Jansen just about gets enough bat on this full delivery outside off and guides it down the ground. FOUR! This is better. Steered to the third-man fence.

Abdul Samad comes in as Impact sub for T. Natarajan. Meredith starts off with a couple of accurate yorkers and Mayank just gets one run off them. OUT! Low full toss and Mayank drills this straight to the long-on fielder. Is that the match then? Jansen comes in and is greeted by a peach of a delivery that jags back in sharply and beats both batter and keeper.

Chawla bowls out. Agarwal plays a mistimed lofted shot to deep square for a single. FOUR! Klaasen reverse-sweeps this googly over the point fielder for a boundary. SIX! Klaasen hammers it straight down the ground for a maximum. SIX! Consecutive maximums as Klaasen brings out his reverse-sweep and this time clears deep third-man. FOUR! Klaasen on a roll here as he rocks back and pulls this short one to the midwicket fence. OUT! Chawla gets his man after getting quite a beating. Klaasen wants to go big again down the ground but ends up toe-ending this to the long-on fielder.

FOUR! Klaasen shuffles across the stumps and ramps this to the fine-leg fence with ease. Hundred up for Hyderabad in 12.2 overs. Yorker to Mayank and Green puts in a loud shout for LBW. Mayank shuffled across to flick this on leg and seems to have missed the ball. Mumbai Indians goes for the review. The ball is missing leg-stump and Mayank survives while MI loses a review.

Chawla into his third over. FOUR! Mayank steps out and drives this to the long-off boundary but still just eight runs come from the over.

Meredith back into the attack. FOUR! Mayank pumps the first delivery down the ground for a boundary. FOUR! Short and pulled away by Klaase through midwicket. Twelve runs from the over.

Chawla comes back. OUT! Abhishek Sharma holes out to Tim David at long-off. It was a googly from Chawla first up and Abhishek looks to lift this over extra-cover but does’t connect this well. Heinrich Klaasen comes in. Just four runs from the over and Chawla makes a strong statement after going for 10 in his first over.

Pulled away in front of square by Markram! That’s not how Green would have hoped to start his spell. Rohit signals the T for a caught-behind review after Nitin Menon signals a wide down leg. “ Aawaz aayi mereko,” says Ishan, confirming that there might have been an edge. Again, there is no spike in the UtraEdge and Mayank survives. Mumbai loses a review. Green traps the big fish! Markram holes out to Shokeen at deep midwicket. Abhishek Sharma, the new man in, is off the mark with a single.

Spinners to operate in tandem; leg-spinner Piyush Chawla to bowl from the opposite end. Mayank uses his feet to muscle a boundary over the bowler’s head now. There is an umpire’s review for a run-out, although the MI players don’t seem that happy. Well, Markram was miles inside the crease, the replays suggest. Once it came off the blade there was no stopping that. Oops, seems like I have jinxed it. The English batter loses grip to miscue a pull to Suryakumar Yadav. Tripathi backs away with Behrendorff late into his runup. The SRH batter smiles and apologises.

SRH openers Mayank and Brook make their way to the middle. Mumbai Indians have triggered the Impact Player change. Seamer Riley Meredith replaces Tilak Varma. Arjun Tendulkar opens the attack with an inswinger. Brook works it away to midwicket. Tendulkar strays off his line in the fourth delivery and Brook punishes him. Charges across and flays this over extra-cover.

Natarajan to finish things off. FOUR! Full toss on the pads and whipped away by David to the boundary behind square-leg. David pulls a short one next ball for a single. Full toss again, outside off this time, and Green only manages it slice it for three runs over extra-cover. FOUR! Full toss again, outside off, and Green slashes this away behind point to take Mumbai to 190. Good yorker next ball and just a single as David digs it out on leg-side after getting low. Another yorker to end the innings and flicked away for a single. They come back for a second and David is well short of his crease.

Bhuvi bowls out. Just five runs off the first four balls. The batters are unable to put two low full tosses away. Bhuvi bangs one short to end the over with a dot.

Natarajan to David. Single to start with as David mishits a full-toss. FOUR! Green sends this one crashing through the covers for a boundary. FOUR! Back-to-back boundaries for Green as he flicks this to the wide long-on fence. FOUR! Fifty for David off 33 balls as he takes this wide outside off-stump ball on the full and drills this through cover and point. SIX! Width outside off again, length ball and Green launches this down the ground for a maximum. Low full toss on the pads and whipped away for a single and Green will retain strike.

Here comes Bhuvi at the death. SIX! What a shot! Tilak fetches this from outside off and lofts this over long-on for a maximum. OUT! Tilak is gone next ball. He steps out but this is angling away from him and he slices this high in the air as Mayank takes it at deep cover. Tim David is the next man in.

Now Markande bowls out. FOUR! Tilak stays leg-side of the ball and drives this through covers for a boundary. There’s a caught behind appeal and the umpire has reviewed this. Tilak went for the pull and got an inside edge but the ball has bounced on the pitch before going into the keeper’s gloves and he survives. SIX! Loose ball outside leg and Tilak duly deposits this over fine-leg with a sweep. Pushed through covers by Tilak for a couple and that’s good running too between the batters.

Jansen bowls out. FOUR! Green starts off with a boundary as he steers a short delivery past short third. Short again next ball and Green misses the pull. FOUR! Slower one and short and this is pulled to the deep square-leg fence by Green. Full outside off and drilled by Green to extra-cover for just one. SIX! In the slot and Tilak slaps this across the line and over deep backward square for a maximum. SIX! This is pummelled down the ground and the ball just clears the rope to make it back-to-back sixes.

Markande bowls his third. FOUR! Tilak gets his first boundary with an audacious reverse-sweep to the third-man boundary. Goes for the pull but the ball goes off the shoulder of the bat and dribbles back to the bowler.

Sundar bowls out. FOUR! Green is given width outside off and he reaches out and slashes this through cover and point for a boundary. Hundred up for Mumbai in 12.4 overs.

Now Jansen comes with the ball. OUT! Kishan steps out to flay this on off-side but ends up slicing this and Markram takes a stunning catch at mid-off. Suryakumar is off the mark with a whip off the pads for a single. Green cuts one away behind to deep third for one more. SIX! Suryakumar picks this length ball on leg-stump over the boundary behind square with ease and fetches six runs for it. OUT! Gone next ball and Markram takes a second stunner in the same over, diving to his left this time at mid-off. Bouncer to end the over.

Natarajan comes back to bring some pace back into the attack. Kishan guides the first one to deep point for a single. Good yorker and Green digs it out for one more down the ground. SIX! After five singles from five balls, Green decides to break the shackles. He goes big over deep extra-cover but Jansen pulls the ball back in with an exceptional fielding effort.

Markande continues. FOUR! Kishan reverse-sweeps this to the third man fence. A lot of power behind that shot and initially it looked like it could have gone all the way. FOUR! Kishan steps out and drills this down the ground, forcing the umpire to scamper out of the way to safety. Top-edge and safe! Kishan went for the sweep and the ball looped in and fell in no-man’s land behind the wicketkeeper. Single for Kishan to end the over as he ends up slicing a ball that he looked to pull at first.

More evidence that the ball is gripping onto the surface. Sundar concedes just a single from the first four balls of the over. Kishan gets a leading edge and then Green is beaten by some turn. SIX! But Green somewhat salvages this over with a maximum off the last ball. Sends the ball sailing over long-on.

Here comes Mayank Markande. Starts off with a short one and Green punches it on the off-side for a dot. That’s in the air and safe! Green got a leading edge over the bowler but was lucky the ball landed safely. Kishan goes for the pull but gets just a single. Green is looking to play across the line but first misses the ball and then gets an inside edge for a single. Kishan keeps strike with a single.

Sundar comes back for his second. Tidy over from the off-spinner as just three singles come from it. Good comeback from Sundar after getting clobbered by Rohit in his first.

Bhuvneshwar comes back. Green steps out and looks to slog this on leg-side but misses. He gets a single next ball with an inside edge to midwicket. Kishan punches behind point for one more. Another big heave from Green but doesn’t time this at all and just gets a single off the toe of the bat. SIX! Kishan smokes this length ball over midwicket with a pull. Fifty up for Mumbai in 5.5 overs. Kishan goes for a wild heave but it goes high in the air and just evades the deep midwicket fielder; two runs.

Natarajan into the attack. FOUR! Rohit greets him with a boundary. Length ball around leg-stump and Rohit clears his front leg and pulls this over mid-on for four runs. FOUR! Rohit now shuffles across and scoops this behind deep square for another boundary. OUT! The left-arm pacer has the last laugh. Rohit gets a leading edge trying to work this on leg-side and hands an easy catch to mid-off. Cameron Green comes in at No.3. He is off the mark with a single at cover.

Jansen continues. Rohit steps out and misses as he looks to slash this on the off-side. FOUR! Kishan now ups the ante. He whacks this over mid-on violently for a boundary. Unlucky! Kishan hammers a half-volley down the ground but Rohit can’t move out of the way on time and ends up denying four runs to his team.

Washington Sundar into the attack. Rohit sweeps the first ball behind for a boundary at fine-leg. FOUR! This is imperious. Slightly shorter and Rohit cross-bats this to the square-leg boundary. FOUR! Three boundaries in a row as Rohit slaps this length ball outside off through cover and point. Rohit tucks one off his hips for a quick single at short third off the fifth ball. Dot to end the over as Kishan blocks this on the off-side.

Marco Jansen from the other end. Kishan pushes the second ball of the over to mid-off and sneaks a quick single. Full on fourth stump angling across and Rohit drives it along the ground and straight to mid-off. This is angling across very wide outside off and first extra run for Mumbai. Rohit dabs this one to deep third and it’s just a single. Kishan misses a whip off the pads and Jansen is keeping it tight here. SIX! Short and Kishan pulls this over fine-leg for a maximum. He seemed to take his eyes off the ball but the connection was good enough to take the ball over the ropes.

Kishan is away with a first-ball single as he steers the ball behind point. In-swinger from Bhuvi onto the pads and Rohit misses an attempted flick on leg-side. Pushed to extra-cover for another dot ball. Another one shapes into Rohit and he blocks it on leg-side. FOUR! Rohit steps out and slashes this wide outside off delivery over point and cover to make it six from the first over.

The boundaries are 63m and 68m square of the wicket and the straight boundary is about 73m. Ian Bishop reckons the ball will come onto the bat nicely and there could be some assistance for the spinners with the grass cut very low.

Rohit Sharma needs 14 runs to become only the fourth batter in the history of the IPL to complete 6,000 runs in the tournament. If the Mumbai Indians skipper gets to the mark today, we will have achieved it in his 227th innings, making him the slowest of the four to the mark.
