WHAT A WIN THIS FOR ENGLAND! It held its nerves till the end and clinched the game by 1 run. India lost the plot in the last over, losing Bharati Fulmali, Anuja Patil in quick intervals. Poor ending for India.

Before the T20I series began, Smriti Mandhana spoke to Sportstar about her new role and she had made it clear that she is prepared for the new opportunity. "Ready? Of course, I am ready..." she had said. It hasn't been a great outing so far, but she will be happy with the way her bowlers fared so far.

Excellent glovework from Taniya Bhatia! Captain Heather Knight lost her balance only for a while and that was enough for India's keeper to whip off the bails. England loses its fourth wicket, thanks to Bhatia and Ekta Bisht.

The Assam Cricket Association had invited the schools and colleges to send the wards to watch the game. But the stands are mostly empty. However, youngsters have come to the ground to cheer for India. During the ODIs in Mumbai, there was hardly any crowd.

11: 07 am: Before the tour began, England captain, Heather Knight, had admitted that her side would want to clinch a series against India. Even though, it conceded the ODI series 1-2, it has already bagged the T20 title.
