The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named southpaw Suresh Raina as Ambati Rayudu's replacement for the ODI series against England. Rayudu failed the Yo-Yo test at the National Cricket Academy on Friday.
It is learnt that Rayudu, who played a stellar role in Chennai Super Kings’ victorious IPL campaign, performed below-par in the range of 14 in the Yo-Yo test. The benchmark was 16.1 points.

Rayudu became the second player to fail the Yo-Yo test. Earlier, Mohammad Shami was dropped from the squad that played Afghanistan in the one-off Test owing to the same reason.
India is scheduled to play three ODIs in England. The first match will be played at Trent Bridge on June 12 while Lord's and Leeds will host the second and third ODIs on June 14 and 17 respectively.
