The three-member Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) comprising Kapil Dev, Anshuman Gaekwad and Shantha Rangaswamy will announce the head coach on Friday evening at 6 p.m., when it addresses the media.
The Kapil Dev-led CAC started the interview process for the selection of India's head coach at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) headquarters.
A total of six short-listed candidates -- Ravi Shastri, Tom Moody, Mike Hesson, Lalchand Rajput and Robin Singh -- will be interviewed throughout the day. West Indies' Phil Simmons dropped out of the race earlier today citing personal reasons.
