I said, ‘I’d love to work with him’ We have a great relationship, actually we’re genuine friends.“We had a great World Cup and he was responsible because there was some strong headed players in that side. It was a hard start, for both of us. You were a new captain and I was the foreign coach. You remember the good times but it was also tough times,” he added.Ganguly and Wright had guided India to some memorable performances in international cricket, including the unforgettable 2002 NatWest series final against England at Lord’s, a home Test series win against Australia, drawing a Test series against Australia in Australia, winning a series against arch-rivals, Pakistan.
