Women's World Cup: Megan Rapinoe wins Golden Boot, Golden Ball

Megan Rapinoe scored six goals in the tournament, the same as USA teammate Alex Morgan, but won the laurel on account of having done so in fewer minutes.

USA's Megan Rapinoe won the Golden Boot for her six goals in the tournament, beating teammate Alex Morgan for the honour, having scored and assisted in fewer minutes.

Rapinoe played a role in USA's final victory against Netherlands, as she scored from the spot in the 62nd minute.

Megan Rapinoe, aged 34 years 2 days, also became the oldest goal scorer in a Women's World Cup final.
