Neymar says Barcelona's incredible Champions League turnaround against Paris Saint-Germain meant more to him than any of his other achievements.

Having lost the first leg of its last-16 clash 4-0 in Paris, a remarkable 6-1 victory at Camp Nou secured a quarter-final place in stunning circumstances.

Neymar was influential, scoring twice and setting up the winner in the closing minutes, and he now ranks the game ahead of all others in his career - despite having won the Olympics, the Confederations Cup and the Champions League.

"I believe that, in terms of importance, it was one of the best [performances] and in terms of emotion, it was the highest," he told the Daily Mail.

"It overcame the Olympics, the Confederations Cup and the Champions League final.

"The emotion of the sixth goal, everything we felt there, in that moment, overcame any game I have ever played. Nevertheless, in terms of importance, the Olympics were the most important."

And Neymar admitted that there was "joy, screams and some bad words" as he realised that Sergi Roberto's clinching goal was not offside.

"Look, at the moment he scored that goal I was just looking out for the linesman," he added. "I was like 'run for God's sake, run to the middle field'.

"In the moment he ran, then there was joy, screams, some bad words I cannot mention here, it all came out. It was lots of emotion."
