Indian Super League side ATK reached the quarterfinals of the Hero Super Cup after a convincing 3-1 win over Real Kashmir at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
Second half goals from Manuel Lanzarote and Everton Santos gave ATK the victory after both sides went into the half-time break level at 1-1.
Indian striker Balwant Singh gave ATK the lead in the 26th minute, before Real Kashmir midfielder Mason Robertson scored from range five minutes later for the equaliser.
In the 79th minute, ATK regained the initiative when Lanzarote struck a sublime side-footed volley from outside the box from a corner kick. Substitute Santos scored his first goal of the season in the 83rd to ensure Steve Coppell's side reached the last eight stages, where it will face Delhi Dynamos on April 5.
