Shakhtar was seconds away from a win but Rudiger came to Real’s rescue. Real Madrid have now booked a spot in the UCL knockouts and are still unbeated in this year’s UCL. The Los Blancos salvaged a point in trademark fashion.

Valverde continues where he left off last meeting. He’s proving to be a problem for the Shakhtar back four. He did well to retain the ball and topped it with a pass to Hazard but the Belgian couldn’t reach there on time
