The 2023 National Games of India will be held in Goa from October 26 to November 9, 2023. India’s prestigious multi-event sporting showcase was last held in Gujarat in 2022.
The National Games will be held across five cities of Goa — Mapusa, Margao, Panjim, Ponda and Vasco. Goa will host the National Games for the first time. Goa was awarded the hosting rights for the 36th edition, initially scheduled for 2016. However, due to multiple postponements, the event was hosted by Gujarat last year.
This will be the 37th edition of the National Games, and an estimated 10,000 athletes will take part across 43 sporting disciplines.
