This is Umadevi’s sixth senior National billiards title. Umadevi, 52, battled fatigue to get the job done. “I was not able to play my game in the third frame. I was too tired, possibly because of my age. I was also nervous, which led me to miss many easy shots,” Umadevi said.

In the men’s snooker group stage, top names like Pankaj Advani, Dharminder Lilly, Siddharth Parikh, Manan Chandra and Brijesh Damani recorded victories.
