Meghana Sajjanar continued to dominate the women’s air rifle finals, as she topped with 250.2 in the shooting National selection trials at the Dr. Karni Singh Range, Tughlakabad, on Monday.
After qualifying in the seventh place, 0.2 point behind Olympian Ayonika Paul, Meghana pipped Himani Poonia by 0.7 point.
Qualification topper Shreya Agrawal was third. Shreya managed to top in youth women’s section and took the second spot in junior women’s final behind Himani Poonia.
In men’s rifle prone, Olympian Chain Singh beat Sushil Ghaley by 0.5 point to top the llist. Yogesh Singh topped in standard pistol with a modest score of 572.
