Even though the four-day championship will be shot on paper targets, and without decimal scoring in the rifle events, about 480 shooters are expected to compete, including Olympian Prakash Nanjappa.

The champions in the rifle and pistol events will be presented Rs.50,000 while the second and third placed will get ₹30,000 and ₹20,000 respectively.

There will also be attractive cash prizes for the participants of the Champion of Champions events.
