Sachin Tendulkar calls cricket his ‘oxygen’.

Cricket is inherent in Sachin Tendulkar. The little master played cricket on the streets of Mumbai with a group of restaurant staff*. Passing by the suburb of Bandra, Tendulkar saw a group of staff playing cricket, and pulled his car aside to bat.

With a plastic parking barrier for stumps, Tendulkar played a few deliveries.

Before long, he was interrupted by a staff from a hotel, and a fan from a car passing by.

For most of his life, Tendulkar has lived a life under constant public scrutiny. Away from the prying eyes, though, albeit for a short while, an indulgence in what he calls his ‘oxygen’ has to be refreshing.
