Sathiyan and Anthony Amalraj lost to the top-seeded pair of Youngsik Jeong and Sangsee Lee of Korea 14-12, 11-9, 11-8 in the semifinals of the ITTF Australian Open table tennis championships. Earlier, Sathiyan and Amalraj reached the semifinals with a 5-11, 11-6, 14-12, 11-6 win over Korea's Woojin Jang and Jonghoon Lim, seeded three. This was the first time an Indian duo reached the last four in a ITTF World Tour platinum event.Speaking to ITTF TV, both shared their happiness in making it to the last four. "It was really good playing with Sathiyan. We are playing after [a gap of] two years. We started playing in Korean Open (held between July 4 and 7)."It was a great win,"said Sathiyan after entering the semifinal. "The Koreans are the best in doubles.
