Winnetka Challenger: Ramkumar reaches quarterfinals

Ramkumar Ramanathan continued his good run from the ATP Challenger doubles title win in Italy by reaching the singles quarterfinals in Winnetka, U.S.A.

Ramkumar Ramanathan beat J. C. Aragone of the U.S 7-6(6), 6-3 in the pre-quarterfinals of the $54,160 Challenger tennis tournament in Winnetka, U.S.A.

In the quarterfinals, eighth seed Ramkumar will challenge the fourth seed Dennis Istomin of Uzbekistan.

It has been a good week for Ramanathan who won the doubles title of the ATP Challenger in Recanati, Italy in partnership with Portugal's Goncalo Oliveira on Monday.
