Recanati Challenger: Ramkumar reaches doubles semifinals

Ramkumar Ramanathan and Goncalo Oliveira of Portugal reached the semifinals of the Recanati Challenger in Italy with a 1-6, 7-6(6), 10-8 over Enrique Lopez Perez and Adrian Menendez-Maceiras.

Ramkumar Ramanathan in partnership with Goncalo Oliveira of Portugal bounced from the brink of defeat to reach the doubles semifinals with a 1-6, 7-6(6), 10-8 victory over the Spaniards Enrique Lopez Perez and Adrian Menendez-Maceiras in the €46,600 Challenger tennis tournament in Recanati, Italy.

Ramkumar was also scheduled to play the singles quarterfinals against Mats Moraing of Germany.
