Satwiksairaj and Chirag Shetty also pulling out of the event on Tuesday.Satwik had disclosed that he had been in discomfort in the shoulder from the quarterfinal stage of the Thailand Open, which he and his partner went on to win last Sunday. The 18-year-old has apparently aggravated the pain and decided to submit a medical certificate to the tournament director which was accepted late in the evening.READ : Thailand Open: Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, Chirag Shetty win doubles title“With the World championship around, we felt it was the right decision to let him pull out of the event and prepare accordingly for the major event where he and Chirag now happen to be the medal hopes after their Thailand performance,” one of the organising committee members told Sportstar.
