P. Harikrishna chose to play it safe against Alexander Grischuk before Teimour Radjabov nailed Peter Svidler to nose ahead after the seventh round of the Grand Prix chess championship here on Thursday.

The 29-move deadlock kept Hari and Grishcuk at 4.5 points, half a point behind Radjabov, who had a 31-move victory.
