India batsman Cheteshwar Pujara could only score 19 as Yorkshire beat Lancashire by 16 runs in the Royal London One-Day Cup tie at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Tuesday.
Electing to bat first, Yorkshire posted a mammoth 379 for seven, courtesy opener Adam Lyth and David Willey's sensational innings of 144 and 131, respectively.
In reply, the Lancashire batsmen began solidly with opener Keaton Jennings scoring 69 and skipper Liam Livingstone racking up 79 runs. However, it wasn't enough as Willey's four for 59 tilted the scale in Yorkshire's favour.
With this win, Yorkshire moves to the third spot in the North Group table, while Lancashire slips to the sixth position.
Yorkshire hosts Northamptonshire on Thursday.
