Group A

Assam vs Uttar Pradesh: At stumps on Day Two, Assam is on 279 for 6 in 94 overs.

Maharashtra vs Railways: Maharashtra is bowled out for 481. Amol Karhadkar reports from Pune:

. Saurabh Wakaskar and Shivakant Shukla received a reprieve each as Railways end the second day at 88 for no loss.

. Rohit Motwani's marathon knock gets over as he holes out to deep square-leg off Amit Mishra. Motwani dismissed for 189 runs (427m, 328b, 24x4, 3x6). Maharashtra all out for 481 and the umpires call tea.

. Rohit Motwani's 94-run partnership with Mukesh Choudhary may have been broken, with the tailender's attempted pull resulting in a top-edge to 'keeper Mahesh Rawat. But Pradeep Dadhe has given Motwani the much-needed support as the left-hander is one run shy of his highest first-class score of 147 at the drink interval. Maharashtra 414 for eight.

. Rohit Motwani completes his fourth first-class hundred - first in four years - in the penultimate over before lunch. With debutant Mukesh Choudhary increasing looking like a confident batter, the left-handed duo has surged Maharashtra's total to 353 for seven at lunch. Time for a bite!

. Chirag Khurana played Amit Mishra on to the stumps soon after the first hour's play. In the next over, Karan Thakur fetched an edge off Nikit Dhumal's willow. With the long tail for company, Rohit Motwani has found an ally in debutant Mukesh Choudhary. While Motwani is batting on 75, Maharashtra has coasted to 300 for seven.

Karnataka vs Delhi: Delhi is on 20 for 0 after 5 overs at stumps on Day Two, trailing Karnataka by 629 runs.

Group B

Jharkhand vs Jammu and Kashmir: At stumps on Day Two, Jharkhand is 220 for 5, trailing Jammu & Kashmir by 156 runs.

Haryana vs Team Rajasthan: At stumps on Day Two, Team Rajasthan is on 74 for 7, trailing Haryana by 149 runs.

Saurashtra vs Gujarat: Gujarat finish the second day at 45 for no loss after Saurashtra is bowled out for 570. Cheteshwar Pujara was dismissed for 182 after Snell Patel made 156.

Group C

Tripura vs Andhra: Tripura finished Day Two on 68 for 1 after bowling Andhra out for 402.

Odisha vs Tamil Nadu: At stumps on Day Two, Odisha is 36 for 0, trailing Tamil Nadu by 494 runs.

S. Dipak Ragav reports from Cuttack:

. Tamil Nadu declares at 530 for eight with B. Aparajith remaining unbeaten on 109. Odisha has to bat 13 overs tonight.

. Tamil Nadu pressed slightly ahead in the second session scoring 112 runs in 28.4 overs, with Vijay Shankar slamming his fifth first-class ton. The all-rounder was trapped leg before for 100, though it looked like he might have had hit it on to his pads judging by the visible disappointment with the decision.

Aparajith is still at the crease batting on 88; he seems to have slowed down a bit after getting to his fifty. It will be interesting to see whether TN goes for the declaration once Aparajith gets to his 100 or not. At the stroke of tea, Washington Sundar was dismissed for 14 with TN at 494 for six.

. TN goes into lunch at 382 for four with B. Aparajith and Vijay Shankar batting on 45 and 48 respectively. It has been a tough session but both batsmen have now go their eye in. TN would want to get a move on post-lunch and get another 100 runs quickly so that it can have a crack Odisha towards the end of the day.

. Halfway into the first session here in Cuttack, Odisha bowlers have made full use of some early morning helpful conditions picking a wicket and not allowing TN to get quick runs.

At drinks break, TN is 340 for four with only 48 runs coming in the first 19 overs. Also a hat-tip to Odisha bowlers for maintaining a good over rate even with pacers bowling the most so far. Indrajith missed out on a half-century, caught behind down the leg side, a soft dismissal. There early winter morning has helped the pacers and runs have been hard to come by but Vijay Shankar and B. Aparajith are looking solid.

Mumbai vs Baroda: At stumps on Day two, Baroda is at 376 for four, with Aditya Waghmode scoring 138. Nandakumar Marar reports from Mumbai:

. At tea, Baroda is at 304/3.

. Baroda overtook Mumbai’s first innings score of 171 before lunch on Day Two at the Wankhede Stadium. Opener Vishnu Solkanki (50 off 75 bals) showed the way to tackle the home team bowling before losing his wicket. Deepak Hooda (38 off 51 balls, 2x4, 2x6) and overnight opener Aditya Waghmode (66 off 179 balls, 9x4) were at the crease as the visitor eased to 180 for 2 in 67 overs.
