hyderabad-ranji

Haryana vs Jammu and Kashmir: Chasing 222, Haryana has been reduced to 49/4 and Irfan Pathan picked up each of those wickets.

Amol Karhadkar reports from Mumbai: While the partnership between Aditya Waghmode and Rakesh Solanki has crossed 200 - Baroda's highest for the second wicket against Mumbai/ Bombay - the weekend crowd is chanting "Hardik.... Pandya" and the all-rounder acknowledges them from the Baroda dressing room gallery.

Baroda's previous best second-wicket stand for the second wicket against Mumbai was 174 by DK Gaekwad and G Kishenchand at Brabourne Stadium in 1958-59

Kerala vs Delhi: Jalaj Saxena picks up six wickets and cleans up the tail as Kerala bowls out the Delhi for 139/6, leaving it trailing by 181 runs. Kerala has an option to enforce follow on and it takes it. Going for the kill!

Here's V. V. Subrahmanyam, with an interesting update from Hyderabad: Well even one vocal fan was suggesting to pacer Mohammed Siraj where to bowl - "off stump ke bahar dal (bowl out side off stump to stop run flow)" as Bengal go into tea at 302/6 in 106 overs with opener Abhimanyu Easwaran on 163 and Aamir Gani on 9 vs Hyderabad.

Amol Karhadkar updates from Mumbai: Vishnu Solanki creams Shivam Dube through covers to complete his fifth first-class hundred. While the Baroda change room applauds his effort with a standing ovation, Bhargav Bhatt shouts "make it big, start afresh". Baroda 186/1

Punjab vs Tamil Nadu: This guy is just class. Shubman Gill gets to 150 in just 171 balls as Punjab makes it looks easy against Tamil Nadu at the moment.

What's happening in the tea break? N. Sudarshan has this update: Fans are cheering the Karnataka side which is treating itself to a round of football during the tea break. One fan even asks Mayank Agarwal to go to Australia and send K. L. Rahul back.

In case you missed it: India opener K. L. Rahul, also from Karnataka, was dismissed for 2 in the Perth Test today.

M. R. Praveen Chandran, from Thiruvananthapuram: Delhi 119 for six at tea. Jonty Sidhu 40  batting along with Shivank Vashisth batting 13.

Here's V. V. Subrahmanyam, reporting from Hyderabad: Hyderabad pace bowler Ravi Kiran limps off the field, injured while trying to stop a backdrive from Shahbaz Ahmed in his follow through. Bengal 262 for 5 before tea break on second day.

Off-spinner Saaketh Sai Ram picks his first wicket ,debutant Shahbaz Ahmed (27) caught at slip Bengal 270 for six before tea break

Meghalaya vs Bihar: Bihar has innings victory over Meghalaya, in Shillong. Meghalaya suffered a dramatic collapse in the second innings, folding for 46. Spinners Ashutosh Aman (six for 17) and Samar Quadri (four for 24) accounted for all 10 wickets together.

Mizoram vs Sikkim: Mizoram is bowled out for 161, in Jorhat. It's tea. Mizoram trails by 171 runs.

Here's Amol Karhadkar, from Mumbai: Vishnu Solanki is driving the Mumbai pacers with flair. He has entered the 60s, while Aditya Waghmode is starting to rotate strike regularly. With the pitch continuing to be a flat bed, the two have crossed the 100-run partnership tally for the second wicket. Ominous signs for Mumbai (against Baroda).

Here's Amol Karhadkar, reporting from the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai: Kedar Devdhar cut a cake in the Baroda change room on Friday to celebrate his 29th birthday but the Baroda captain couldn't celebrate it in style on Saturday as he was trapped in front of the wickets by Shivam Dube, who was handed the red cherry for the first time. Had Shreyas Iyer not dropped Aditya Waghmode at covers off Royston Dias, Baroda would have been reduced to 29 for 2.

The score — Baroda 47 for 1, trailing Mumbai by 418 runs.

Here's N. Sudarshan, reporting from Surat: Samarth bowled by Axar. Tried a sweep but came undone. Karnataka 107 for 3 (against Gujarat).

Here's Amol Karhadkar, once again: He (Hardik Pandya) does (takes a five-wicket haul) as last-man Royston Dias gives Yusuf Pathan catching practice off the first ball. Here's Amol Karhadkar, reporting from the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai: Hardik Pandya's around-the-wicket short-ball ploy against allrounder Akash Parkar had been bothering the last recognised Mumbai batsman all through the morning. Pandya finally gets his man, with Parkar edging it down the leg to the keeper. Mumbai 465 for 9 (against Baroda). Can Hardik finish the innings with a fifer?
