Mumbai vs Uttarakhand | Amol  comments: Prithvi Shaw fails to convert a start into a big knock yet again. Holes out to deep midwicket off leggie Negi after a breezy knock. Aditya Tare, the other batter short of runs this season, has been promoted to No 3.

Bengal vs Jharkhand | Dhruva : Jharkhand 43/0 in 10 overs at Drinks in session 2. The openers survived a probing opening spell by Porel and Mukesh by the skin of their teeth but are slowly settling in. Nazim Siddique has looked in good touch, spraying the off-side with boundaries. Deobrat was dropped on 4 in the slips and has yet to find his groove.

Mumbai vs Uttarakhand | Amol texts : Letting Prithvi Shaw find form and giving confidence to his partner Yashasvi Jaiswal - playing his first game of the season - was the main reason for Mumbai to bat despite a huge lead. The duo has got off to a start, with a scratchy Shaw racing to a 51-ball 50. 81/0 in 18 overs.

Punjab vs Madhya Pradesh | Here's Lalith : Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma in the middle for Punjab. MP begins with left-arm spin through Kumar Kartikeya from one end and seamer Puneet Datey at the other.

Bengal vs Jharkhand | Dhruva : Sensational opening burst of pace bowling by Ishan Porel and Mukesh Kumar. Bengal living up to its reputation of having the best pace battery this season. Movement in the air and bounce have hardly allowed the openers to put bat to ball. Jharkhand 13/0 in 6 overs.

Karnataka vs UP | Ashwin tweets: Horror moment for Rinku Singh. Shoulders arms to a dead straight delivery from Kaverappa. Loses off stump. Shocker for UP. Karnataka clear favourite now to win

Bengal vs Jharkhand | Dhruva : A fitting end to a colossal Bengal innings. Akash Deep zips to his 18-ball 50 with his 8th six of the match as Bengal creates history by becoming the first team in first-class cricket to have nine players score 50 or more in the same innnings. Bengal 773/7 declared.

Karnataka vs UP | Ashwin : Garg (52) falls for trap set by Gowtham. Glances one on leg stump to leg slip. Big wicket for Karnataka. UP 87/3.

Karnataka vs UP | Ashwin texts: Positive intent from Garg after lunch. Hooks a bouncer from Kaverappa for a six to bring up his fifty. This session will decide the fate of this match.

Bengal vs Jharkhand | Dhruva tweets : 50 runs off 80 balls for Sayan Mondal after Lunch and now the top eight of Bengal have scores of 50 plus. Akash Deep picks up from where he left after Lunch with a six straight down the ground. 31 off 10 balls with five sixes. Absolute madness from Akash Deep. 6 number 7 and he moves to 45 off 15 balls.

Bengal vs Jharkhand | Dhruva : Bengal 740/7 in 216 overs at Lunch on Day 3. Akash Deep smashes four sixes in eight balls. Mondal is unbeaten on 49. No declaration yet.

Mumbai vs Uttarakhand | Amol says : Mumbai needs only one more over with Tanush Kotian getting into the wickets column with the last wicket.  He accept a return catch off Akash Madhwal. U'khand bowled out for 114.With a lead of 533, will Mumbai enforce a follow-on? I'll be surprised if they do. See you in 40!

Bengal vs Jharkhand | Dhruva : Akash Deep comes in after his RCB teammate Shahbaz falls and starts off with two sixes over long-on. Signs of an impending declaration finally... Make it three as Akash launches another one over long-on.

Karnataka vs UP | LUNCH: Priyam and Karan Sharma hold fort, but UP was let down badly by openers Aryan and Samarth. Both batters got dismissed playing well away from the body. This target is within sight now. All it takes is two good sessions of patient batting.

Mumbai vs Uttarakhand | Amol : Shams Mulani is picking fifers at will with the red-ball this season. With two wickets in an over, including a perfect left-arm spinner's dismissal with the ball pitching on the leg, turning and striking the top of off, he has 33 wickets now. 109/8.

READ | Shams Mulani, Mumbai’s new wunderkind

Mumbai vs Uttarakhand | Amol : Can you see a better catch the stunner that Prithvi Shaw has just pulled off at first slip? Dikshanshu Negi tries to play against the spin off Shams Mulani, gets a thick edge and Shaw dives full stretch to his right and takes a one-handed catch. 109/7

Mumbai vs Uttarakhand | Amol : Shams Mulani is doing Shams Mulani. His wicket-tally is as humongous as Sarfaraz's runs this season. He has scalped two this morning, with Swapnil Singh edging into slips for a perfect left-arm spinner's dismissal. 79/5.

The floodgates have definitely opened now at Alur 2. Bist departs, having mistimed a cut off one from Avasthi that rose on him. 91/6.

Bengal vs Jharkhand | Dhruva : Jharkhand playing the waiting game. With fielders manning the boundaries and only mid-off and point inside the circle, they are hoping to stop the flow of runs until Bengal is forced to declare.

Fifty up for Shahbaz Ahmed off 86 balls. Has looked to score quickly all morning before going a little quiet on 49. Top seven for Bengal now have scores of 50 or more. Bengal 664/6 in 203 overs.

Mumbai vs Uttarakhand | Here's Amol : Tushar Deshpande dives forward at deep square leg to take an acrobatic catch off leftie Kamal Singh to give Shams Mulani his 30th wicket of the season. Mohit Avasthi then misses out on adding to his tally as Prithvi Shaw at third slip dives ahead of Sarfaraz at second and drops an edge off Swapnil Singh's edge. 72/4

Punjab vs Madhya Pradesh | Lalith : Rajat Patidar continues his scorching form with his FIFTH 50-plus score in five innings this Ranji Trophy season!MP 290/4 in 112 overs.

Karnataka vs UP | BR Sharath is back. The rulebook states a wicketkeeper, although not in the 15, can be subbed.

Mumbai vs Uttarakhand | Here's Amol : After Tushar Deshpande and Dhawal Kulkarni's fiery spells, left-arm spinner Shams Mulani is introduced into the attack. The highest wicket-taker of the season is welcomed by Robin Bist with a six over long-off. The old pro is not only looking at his best but also constantly into Kamal Singh's ears. 66/3

Karnataka vs UP | BR Sharath replaces wicketkeeper Sharath Srinivas as the latter seems to have dislocated his thumb while trying to take a catch. We will keep you updated. Oops! Seems like BR Sharath isn't a part of the 15. Skipper Manish Pandey will be donning the gloves. The lack of a specialist wicketkeeper will hurt Karnataka. Devdutt Padikkal comes on as sub.

Bengal vs Jharkhand | Dhruva texts: Heartbreak for Manoj Tiwary, as he slashes straight to extra cover for 73. Bengal 613/6 . No signs of a declaration yet.

Mumbai vs Uttarakhand | Amol : All eyes will be on Alur 1 but it's been an action-packed half hour at Alur 2. A wicket off his first ball of the day for Dhawal Kulkarni and Tushar Deshpande loses out on a wicket due to his tendency of overstepping. U'khand 42/3

Karnataka vs UP | Here's Ashwin : As expected, UP picks up the last two wickets in quick time. The target is easily achievable, but given how both teams have lacked patience and discipline, you can assume that Karnataka is favourite.

STAT : This is Karnataka's lowest-ever score against Uttar Pradesh.

Punjab vs Madhya Pradesh | Lalith: Positive start to the day for Punjab. Siddarth Kaul cleans up centurion Shubham Sharma in the first over of the day for his overnight score of 102. MP 243/3 in 99.5 overs.

Bengal vs Jharkhand | Dhruva tweets: A sunny morning welcomes day three at the Just Cricket Academy. Manoj Tiwary will be gunning for his hundred before Bengal decides to declare. Meanwhile, Saurabh Tiwary is back on the field after sitting out the whole of day two.

Karnataka vs UP | Ronit More departs for a golden duck. Yash Dayal got this to angle away from the right-handed batter and 'keeper Dhruv Jurel dives to his right to take an excellent catch. Karnataka 105/9 in 34.4 overs.

STUMPS, DAY 2

1. Bengal 577 for 5 in 178 overs ( Tiwary 54*, Shahbaz 7* ) vs Jharkhand.

2. Madhya Pradesh 238 for 2 in 99 overs ( Shubham 102*, Patidar 20* ) vs Punjab. MP leads by 19 runs.

3. Uttarakhand 39 for 2 in 11 overs ( Kamal 27*, Chandela 8* ) vs Mumbai. Uttarakhand trails by 608 runs.

4. Karnataka 100 for 8 in 34 overs ( Sharath 10* ) vs Uttar Pradesh. Karnataka leads by 198 runs.

Bengal would be in no mood to declare soon as it walks into Day 3 with 577 for five on the board and Manoj Tiwary and Shahbaz Ahmed at the crease.

Meanwhile, Shubham Sharma (batting on 102) and Himanshu Mantri executed Madhya Pradesh’s plan to perfection and guided their team to seize a lead against Punjab on the second day of the Ranji Trophy   quarterfinals. Two down, MP's Rajat Patidar and Shubham will plan to build on the slender lead of 19 on Wednesday.

Uttarakhand finds itself in a tight spot after Sudev Parkar's record-breaking double century on debut. Trailing by 608 runs, it is already two men down.

Karnataka lost wickets in a heap to slip to 100 for 8. Uttar Pradesh, clearly the happier side of the two, sauntered out at Stumps on Day 2 knowing they'll likely have to chase only a little over 200 to win.
