Tare: Tendulkar has been a big help to Mumbai

With Mumbai already one step into the Ranji Trophy final, the side’s captain Aditya Tare acknowledged maestro Sachin Tendulkar’s contribution to the team’s progress.

“Our’s is a young team and Tendulkar sir has been a big help to us. He is an inspiration to all of us. He still shows a lot of interest in Mumbai cricket,” Tare said here on Monday.

Tare added, “Tendulkar sir spends time with us whenever possible, keeps meeting us. And he’s like a cricket library. If you have any question on batting, bowling, fielding or even wicketkeeping, you just have to approach and ask him. You will get the right answer.”
