Rain delayed toss in the India-New Zealand World Cup 2019 match.

The Cricket World Cup 2019, with three rained out matches within a week, already has the most number of no result/abandoned games since the tournament started in 1975.

India's match against New Zealand at Trent Bridge in Nottingham was delayed because of overnight showers, and the forecast for the day doesn't inspire confidence.

"It will be a cloudy and cool day in Nottingham today with outbreaks of rain throughout the day, some heavy bursts of rain are possible, especially this afternoon.  Today’s top temperature a cool 14 Celsius," a British Met department official said.

India has won two out of two while New Zealand sits atop the points table thanks to three back-to-back victories.
