India's leading wicket-taker in Tests is unsurprisingly on the list. In fact, Anil Kumble leads this list with 45 wickets from 12 Tests. Best figures: 6/53 (innings), 8/113 (match)

One of India's premier fast bowlers, Javagal Srinath is second on the list with 43 wickets, just two behind Kumble. However, he achieved this feat in four less matches. Best figures: 6/76 (innings), 8/104 (match)

The left-arm quick is third on the list, and he too has played eight Tests in South Africa. Zak, as he is fondly known, has 30 wickets to his name. Best figures: 4/62 (innings), 6/93 (match)

Easily the most controversial name on the list, Sreesanth has racked up impressive numbers in South Africa. In six Tests he has 27 wickets in the bag. Best figures: 5/40 (innings), 8/99 (match)
