They are the three bright stars of India’s U-19 team, and on Saturday, Prithvi Shaw, Shubman Gill and K.L. Nagarkoti stepped into the big stage, bagging huge deals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

While Gill and Nagarkoti went to Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping Rs 1.8 and Rs 3.2 crore respectively, the U-19 captain, Shaw went to Delhi Daredevils for Rs 1.2 crore.

Starting at a base price of Rs. 20 lakh, Gill saw most of the franchises bidding for him, while Shaw too got a fair deal as Delhi picked him for rather big money.

Nagarkoti, meanwhile, made heads turn when KKR splurged significant amount of its resources on him.

In the ongoing U-19 World Cup, the trio has been in good form, leading India into the semifinals of the marquee tournament. With big deals coming their way, the youngsters would be hoping to deliver the goods.
